This weekend was all about learning to mold and cast a figure. For my first try I wanted to do something simple and easy until I got a hang of it and then I would move on to doing my own figures and creations. Unfortunately my first try didn’t work out so well, but it was a learning experiment so hopefully I will get better and better each time…
I used Amazing Mold Rubber and Amazing Casting Resin that I got from Hobby Lobby (using the online coupon for 40% off one item). I molded a small metal vintage Owl figurine because it was simple with some cool textures and with no moving parts.
