I’m really excited to let everyone know about something that I have been working hard on now for sometime. You’ve seen me talking about my own toy making adventures but there’s more out there, and I’m trying to expand on that now… Introducing the “Noise & Toys Tour”!

The niche designer-toy underground is fast-growing into an underground pop art phenomenon! The Noise & Toys Tour is a pop-up event that I designed to provide, the experienced or uninitiated art-toy collectors, a more intimate setting (ie: favorite music venue, bar, gallery) than would be possible at a big comic con type conventions. The unique boutique approach I’m setting up allows everyone to engage with and discover fresh local and traveling artists, while introducing these art-toy makers to audiences looking to discover something new. Each evening features an eclectic mix of noisy bands, plus curated designer art-toy artists for you to peruse.

What are you going to find at these events? Well the New York Times described it well: “What was once the dominion of large toy companies has, in recent years, become a medium for independent artists who mold, cast and package plastic and resin collectibles — sometimes using repurposed parts of other toys — to celebrate the niche obsessions of their youth.” (quote from https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/23/style/bootleg-toys-action-figures.html)
